Michelle Lin Doane holds a Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance and a Catherine Filene Shouse Arts Leadership Program Certificate from the Eastman School of Music, and a Master of Music degree in piano performance from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor.  Her primary teachers were Natalya Antonova, Logan Skelton, Claire Aebersold Neiweem, and Ralph Neiweem.  While in Michigan, she taught at the Chelsea Center for the Arts and maintained a private studio. From 2005 - 2010, Michelle worked at the Nashville Symphony as the Education and Community Engagement Manager. She is currently enrolled in the Master of Education program at Vanderbilt University's Peabody College of Education and Human Development.
